HoloLens is a glimpse of StreetQuest

So there was the Magic Leap video of a day in their augmented reality office. Then Microsoft demonstrated HoloLens at their Build 2015 convention.

This is the type of technology that has me convinced that one day StreetQuest will be real. It might even be much sooner than I imagined. Personally I can't wait to slip on a visor and explore a secret world that is hidden right in front of my eyes.

Geocachers have been hiding treasures right under our noses for years and playing an epic hide and seek games to which muggles are blissfully unaware.

A few years back Ingress began showing us that another world was just on the other side of our cell phone or tablet.

It is only a matter of time before we can don our Google Cardboard, HoloLense, Oculus, or whatever form the experience takes and immerse ourselves in a game.



Because after all isn't that why all this technology was invented in the first place?

I just put up a sample chapter, Chapter 1: DAWN.  The next few chapters are coming as well over the next few weeks.

Sorry it's been so long since the last update.  There is a lot going on with Like Minds, unfortunately much of it is behind the scenes.  I can hint however that some of it involves other book stores. "Coming Soon" posts are just not as exciting as actual content.  So, here's some content, and some coming soon.  Such is the life of a part time writer.

If you are following @NomDeBen on twitter, you may have picked up a rumor that there is a physical copy of Like Minds at my house. Unfortunately I wasn't at my house until last night. But the rumors are true.

It's Alive!!!

The ebook is live!  After 13+ years the book is finally alive. Check Like Minds out on Amazon.
There is a lot I have yet to learn about ebook publishing with Amazon, but for now, click the link above to check it out.

The proof for the physical book is on its way to me in the mail.  As soon as I can get that approved it will be linked up and available as well.

In the Works

We've made a HUGE milestone.  The book is edited several times over.  It is as solid and typo free as I know how to make it.  So, the book is at the printer (CreateSpace).  All the files have been uploaded and we're waiting to hear if it has passed print ready acceptance.  Once I get my hands on a paperback and am happy with it, I'll open the gates.
